Morciano di Romagna is preparing to experience a particularly rich and bright Christmas, with a programme that will run from 6 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, transforming Piazza del Popolo into a large festive village. The Christmas atmosphere will accompany residents and visitors for an entire month, amidst lights, animations, fragrances, and appointments designed for families, children, and those who wish to immerse themselves in the most authentic spirit of the period.

The official opening will take place on Saturday 6 December: at 5 p.m., the lighting of the big Christmas Tree will officially open the event, kicking off the activities of the Christmas Village. With merry-go-rounds, ice skating and light installations, Piazza del Popolo will become the beating heart of Morciano's festivities.

The following weekend, Saturday 14 December, will be dedicated to games of skill proposed by the Scout Group, an event designed to involve adults and children alike. The atmosphere will become even more intense the following weekend, when on Saturday 20 December, starting in the afternoon, the Scouts will return with their gazebo full of chestnuts, waffles and mulled wine, accompanying it all with new playful activities. The following day, Sunday 21 December, the gazebo will again be present and, at 4.30 p.m., Mister Jack will stage "Il Segreto del Magico Natale" (The Secret of Magical Christmas), an interactive show with juggling and giant soap bubbles, capable of enchanting the whole family.

The magic will also continue on Christmas Eve: on Wednesday 24 December, Father Christmas will arrive in town aboard the Little Train, ready to deliver gifts to the children and provide a festive afternoon. After Christmas, the most eagerly awaited appointment will be on Sunday 28 December, when Mister Jack will return with a new show, "Il Magico Regno delle Favole" (The Magic Kingdom of Fairy Tales), designed to immerse the little ones in a world of imagination and fun.

The New Year will kick off with a moment much felt by the community: on Saturday 3 January, at 10 a.m., the traditional Motobenedizione will bring together enthusiasts and onlookers for a symbolic and festive start to 2026. The cycle of Morciano festivities will instead end on Tuesday 6 January, when the arrival of the Befana will bring sweets, smiles and entertainment for all children to the square.

Alongside the village events, the Christmas in Morciano calendar will also include special events. On Sunday 7 December, it will be the turn of the third edition of the Morciano Winter Cup, the competition made up of time trials that will involve participants and fans along a fascinating route around the town. Music will play a central role on Thursday, 18 December, when the 'Hall of Music' school will present its essay-concert in the Sala ex Lavatoio. The musical celebrations will then culminate on Saturday 20 December, with the traditional concert "A Christmas Carol" performed by the City of Morciano Choir in the evocative setting of the Church of San Michele Arcangelo.

With such a wide range of initiatives, Christmas in Morciano 2025 confirms itself as one of the most eagerly awaited events of the season in the Conca Valley, capable of combining tradition, entertainment and conviviality in a whole month of events designed for all ages. A celebration lasting thirty-one days, to be experienced in the heart of the town.
